Representing 70 years of advancement (and lack of) in 45 seconds is a pretty tall order... even moreso when it's shot in a single locked-off take.
Managing to showcase technological advancements whilst simultaneously voicing a lack of genuine progress, 1950… or 2020?'s ingenious conceit both makes no bones in conveying an important message in a simple (comparatively) manner and is all the better for it.
Conceived by San Francisco agency Erich & Kallman and brought to life by Caruso Company director Doug Walker, this sobering bulletin is remarkably effective.
