This compelling Christmas film for Avanti West Coast and Railway Children was written and directed by BAFTA Breakthrough winner Daisy-May Hudson through 42 Branded.
Prompted by the alarming stat that every five minutes in the UK a child runs away from home, with many using public transport to escape, the train operator is on a mission to get people to look up during their journeys and learn how to identify a runaway who may need help.
Hudson worked with youth ambassadors from the Railway Children to create the powerful film, Your Presence Is Presents Enough, which premiered on Avanti West Coast’s YouTube channel.
New research reveals the scale of the issue – 78 per cent of Brits couldn’t confidently spot a runaway, and the film launches at a time when adults are more distracted than usual, with over one in three (34 per cent) admitting they’re less alert during the festive season.
