Directed by Adu Lalouschek through Anima Films, this lively and informative film, created for photojournalism magazine National Geographic in collaboration with logistics company DHL, takes us to Brazzaville, Congo, to meet a group of women who call themselves Les Sapeuses.
Through Lalouschek’s engaging and joyful storytelling, we hear from women like Messani Grace, the president of Mavula Shape. Grace talks about her own experiences and journey, from at first feeling ashamed, to feeling liberated and enjoying the freedom and expression that comes dressing up.
