Move over Bach with your G strings, Singapore Airlines has launched a new music track featuring ambient sounds from their Airbus A350.
Created by TBWA/Singapore to celebrate the Airline's first non-stop Singapore to Seattle route, the campaign, titled Seattle Sounds Even Better Now, comprises a track called Non-Stop created by superstar DJ, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist Chong the Nomad (aka Alda Agustiano).
23-year-old Seattle-based Chong – who is noted for her tech-infused musical creations – sampled the entire aircraft to create a library of 45 different sounds by sliding food trays around, clicking the seatbelts, thrumming the giant rubber wheels and capturing the whoosh of take-off.
The campaign launches globally across Facebook, YouTube and Instagram over the next four weeks with this slick 'making of' film directed and edited by Brian Oh, while Non-Stop can be heard for free on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube and more.
It can be heard and downloaded here
