It's not often we can say we've been charmed by Kiwis talking about welding (clearly we don't go to the right bars), but that particular itch is well and truly scratched by this fun campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi NZ for Toyota.
More OOH than a standard TV ad, but with an accompanying film that's too tantalising not to share, How to Build a 3.5-tonne Headline quite literally shows the process involved in building and displaying a heavy testament to the Hilux Hybrid's pulling power.
Steve Cochran, Chief Creative Officer, says, “A mobile billboard isn’t anything new, but a headline that is literally a product demonstration is super surprising. Yes, it’s a little meta, but if the reaction it gets on highways with people winding down windows to take photos is anything to go on, we think it’ll be just as popular as past Hilux campaigns.”
