Each of these films gets a story across in 15 seconds, and just about that many cuts.
Someone could read this article and by the time they finished, you could have watched all three of these less-than-a-minute pieces for Samsung Pay. Full of clever cuts, incredible editing, and dizzyingly fast storytelling, Christmas Present, Wedding Anniversary, and Costume Party all show off the speed of the service as well as the director’s skill at managing a story’s pace.
With a soft touch of humor and a heavy amount of cuts, the ads almost feel overwhelming but never go too far. Combining slow motion and super-sped up action, director Yacine Saadi of Obvious productions kept a tight hand on the design, creating a series that’s compact and very, very neat.
