It's February the 14 and, should the mood take you and your partner, a sojourn to the bedroom for a Valentine's Day treat could be in the offing.
But, as this short, subtle but sweet 30-second spot from Ogilvy London and Academy's Frederick Paxton shows, it's not just young couples who might want to indulge in some bedroom gymnastics.
But, unless you've been mainlining cod liver oil since your 20s and are more supple than Reed Richards after a session of Bikram yoga, it might be a good idea to employ a little bit of help for fear of an awkward dismount because, hey, age is just a number...
“We should continue the conversation about the joys of later life sex," said Jules Chalkley, Chief ECD at Ogilvy UK. "The aim of this cheeky ad is to dispel the notion that older people shouldn’t, couldn’t and wouldn’t want to have sex and intimacy, which contribute to mental health, happiness and physical wellbeing. This ad builds on creating a new visual language of love."
