Set on a crumbling industrial platform off the coast of California amid hyperreal storms, flying debris and roiling seas the video for Architects’s new track Blackhole is explosive in every sense.
Directed by Jenson Noen and produced by Blesscode Entertainment, the video has been released ahead of the band’s 11th studio album out next month, The Sky, The Earth & All Between.
Frontman Sam Carter, whose anguished shouty vocals make you want to immediately ply him with sore throat pastilles, commented: “So excited to have Blackhole out, it’s one of my favourite songs from the album. The video is equally as intense as the song. We filmed the video at such a wild location and we really are at the top of those buildings that you see. This is Architects at our most ferocious.”
