Typically, we're used to monstrous-types smashing up homesteads rather than refitting them, but the star of IKEA's latest commercial is far too sustainability-minded for a touch of needless smashery.
With their Stuff Monster, agency RETHINK realise the concept of passing furniture on in spectacular style. Brought to life by Scouts Honour's Mark Zibert, the oddly adorable creation, with its big lamp eyes and lumbering chair feet, manages to encapsulate the joy of seeing unwanted products finding a life beyond the the skip.
Backed by Cat Stevens' impassioned Tea for the Tillerman, this lovely commercial for the Canadian market continues IKEA's commitment to furniture recycling.
