Some spots are easy to sum up. Some defy description. Some, like Cheng-Hsu Chung's new ident for Adult Swim, have such engaging visuals and tantalising premises - a queer couple battle a homophobic bird that keeps attacking them - that the idea of not watching seems impossible.
The Biscuit director, and recent Royal College of Art graduate, utilises his distinct illustrative style and signature colour palettes to create a kaleidoscopic world full of invention.
Telling the aforementioned tale, Chung's keen storytelling eye and engaging abilities make what could have been a simulation of a bad trip into a heartfelt exploration of love and adversity. With added mayhem.
