Titled Instrumental to Life, this film is part of a campaign created by Ogilvy/Australia for Kawai that captures the emotional and expressive connection between people and their pianos.
Directed by Gabriel Gasparinatos, through Revolver, it depicts a party brought to life buy a woman's rhythmic playing, a young man committing to his practice despite it driving his sister batty and an elderly man finding solace in playing a lyrical melody.
The spot’s original score is by renowned composer Elliott Wheeler, a regular collaborator with Baz Luhrmann, including on Elvis.
