Future Strong gives us a two-minute tour of his edgiest cutting edge tech enhancement solutions for the digital beyond-verse.
While not the most glamorous of industries, information technology is growing exponentially. Tackling the pressure to be ‘future-facing’ in the new digital-first era, CDW has crafted an ad that identifies modern problems and offers hyper-synergized, mega-solutions. Namely, that the edgiest of cutting edge innovations can sometimes be a bunch of nonsense.
Poking fun at current trends in the IT industry, the unbranded Modern Modernization Today is clever and hilarious. While thought leaders proselytize about modern innovation, onlookers stare back, confused and pretty sure that a whole lot of nothing came out of Future Strong’s mouth.
The testimonial, documentary-style adds to the drama of the piece, while allowing humor to come through. Well designed and thought out, the ad ramps up the ridiculousness as it goes along. Entirely thoughtful, agency Oglivy has created an apt analysis of an industry that often fails to self-reflect.
