Betting platform Betano launches this playful campaign for the FIFA World Cup 2026, created by Wieden+Kennedy Wieden + Kennedy through Primo, which celebrates the raw emotion of watching a football game.
The campaign, titled Believing Makes it Real, follows a lonely video game NPC (Non-Playable Character) who escapes the artificial world of a football game to experience the real, collective energy of the World Cup.
Set to a haunting, reimagined version of the song Mr. Lonely, the film blends live action with animation by Nexus Studios to position football fandom as something too powerful to be simulated.
