As a standalone spot, the story may be opaque, but this amusing ad created by Åkestam Holst and directed by Traktor, through Giant & Toys, is part of a long-running series for ATG that launched in 2018.
With the concept establishing that anybody can win huge monies with Harry, the series sees characters noticing someone else with fancy new cars/jewels/teeth etc and asking if they won big with the gambling game, using the simple Q&A exchange: “Harry…? Harry!”
This ad, Harry Boy - The Very Best, takes you back to the 90s era of typical lifestyle ads and perfect people, in particular depicting a super smooth guy who seems to have it all going on – succeeding in business, romance and even space travel – until he encounters a touch of razor envy.
