This clever campaign redefines Pinterest as a positive place where we can forget the likes.
Alongside an evocative suite of OOH, Uncommon's initiative consists of five uplifting films directed by Kim Gehrig through Somesuch. Each is slickly filmed in a single cinematic shot, following a main character as they dare to defy their biggest saboteurs; Judgement, Procrastination, Doomscrolling, Fear of Failure, and Inner Critic.
At the heart of the campaign is the uplifting mantra Don’t Don’t Yourself, emphasising the belief that the simple act of doing what we’re most afraid of can silence the fear and self-doubt that hold us back.
“We spend up to half of our waking time online, but more than ever, people say being online makes them feel disconnected from themselves and their interests,” says Andréa Mallard, Pinterest CMO.
“Our latest campaign highlights how Pinterest is a different side of the Internet, where you can focus more on doing and less on viewing, where you can find what you love and forget about likes and where you can plan your life and try something new, free of judgement.”
