Although Brussel sprouts get an undeniable bout of bad press at this time of year, the BBC has made sure that 2015 will be different... by featuring Sprout Boy as the star of its Christmas campaign.
Created by RKCR/Y&R, the minute-long animation follows the sprout's struggle for friends to spend the Christmas period with. Thankfully, he stumbles across a host of well-known BBC celebs - including X Factor's Will.i.am, Strictly's Claudia Winkleman and Bake Off's Mary Berry.
The emotional spot helmed by directing duo Smith & Foulkes was unveiled last night and embodies the spirit of togetherness that is typical of British Christmases.
