Riffing on the kind of inferences drawn from dinosaur footprints, this engaging and cinematic ad titled, When Did We Separate From Nature, imagines a scientist probing marks left by a mysterious runner’s impossible pathway.
Written and directed by Italian rising star Enea Colombi, and produced by Section80, it narrates a story of the connection between the human foot and the natural world enabled by minimalist sole technology.
Part of the Move Freely campaign, the film reintroduces Vibram’s FiveFingers shoe, which launched in 2006 and challenged the conventional approach to footwear, with a glove-like flexible shoe that enables one’s tootsies to groove around and feel more grounded to Mother Earth.
