With the overabundance of screens in all aspects of our home life nowadays, it's easy to forget that the humble TV was once the only movie-image source of news and entertainment in our houses.
With this insight in mind, agency Uncommon have created TELEVISION, a powerful look back at the way that TV, and specifically ITV, has documented and shaped British culture. Taking iconic imagery and faces - News At Ten mainstay Sir Trevor McDonald not only appearing throughout, but also narrating and interviewed to inform the script - the spot highlights the sensitive subjects the broadcaster has tackled in both it's factual and scripted shows.
Masterfully handled by Academy Films' Billy Boyd Cape, fresh off his Best New Director win at the British Arrows, the 90-second time-warp is a emotional and thought-provoking journey for all audiences.
