Toolstation’s here to fix...everything, probably
When a tradesman gets called into an average home, he’s expecting an average leak, not a shower-turned-shark tank.

Making full use of absurdity and unexpected angles, Toolstation’s new ad, Tools & More, is a clever take on the jack-of-all-trades.
As a plumber gets invited into a woman’s home to fix her leaky bathroom, everything seems normal. And then he gets into the offending room, and the toilette is fine...but where a shower would be is a massive fish tank. When a shark comes out of the blue and slams against the glass, the cause of the leak becomes apparent.
While admittedly straightforward, the timing of the Great White’s appearance is startling and includes some sharp editing. The campaign was led by krow, and Merman produced the film. Director Guy Manwaring ensured that no sharks or sea life were harmed in the making of this ad.
