Blending stop-motion, 2D digital character animation and live-action camera movement/sets, director George Warren's film for Pink Pepper Gin could be considered as containing more ingredients than the drink it advertises.

Thankfully, though, the charming blend of styles makes for an impeccably smooth and enjoyable watch, viewers being taken on a tour of the brand's house/distillery and being introduced to the characters who inhabit it.

Voiced by David Hargreaves (who, in an impressive feat for a 80-year-old actor, had to fashion a makeshift recording studio in his wardrobe at home) and filled with beguiling little touches, including live-action liquid sloshing through the miniature set and gloriously Wes Anderson-esque production design and framing, this tasty, lock-down fuelled curiosity is jam packed with clever craft.
