Directed by ThirtyTwo, through Pulse, The Quiet Revolution pays homage to that inherently dull little gizmo lurking under your stairs – the electricity meter.
Depicting ordinary scenes from everyday homes, the voiceover points out that while meters at the back of your cupboards have been at the back of your minds, Britain’s outdated electricity metering system is gradually being updated, bringing more fuel-efficient digital technology to domestic power supplies.
But while this revolution is underway, life goes on… Yorkshire puddings will still burn, pans will boil over, teenagers will never turn the lights off.
