We all need a rest from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and, as this beautifully put together spot for the National Trust goes to show, nature may be the perfect place to find solace.

Celebrating the charity's 125th anniversary, the spot from Wieden+Kennedy invokes the words of co-founder Octavia Hill - “We all want quiet. We all want beauty. We all need space.” - and embeds it in a frenitically edited montage of daily mayhem and blissful retreat.

Shot by All Mighty PicturesAnthony Dickenson and brilliant stitched together by The Assembly RoomsJack Williams, the message backs up the company's commitment to becoming carbon net zero by 2030, establishing 20 million trees to help tackle climate change, creating green corridors for people and nature near towns and cities, running a year-long campaign to connect people with nature and continuing investment in arts and heritage.

Tony Davidson, Executive Creative Director, Wieden+Kennedy London, commented: “The National Trust was founded 125 years ago to preserve and protect land and historic places, for everyone, forever. Since then, modern day living has made it increasingly difficult to connect to the environment.

“The quote from founder Octavia Hill, which runs through the work, reminds us how we all need nature and is still as pertinent today as it was all those years ago. We wanted to bring people a sense of calm and remind them how it feels to be at one with nature.”
