Created by adam&eveDDB and titled Just Imagine a Win, the epic story follows a chance encounter between two people who meet on a train and share one of those magical moments of connection.
When the man hastily scribbles his phone number on the back of a National Lottery ticket and gives it to the woman as she exits the train, a spellbinding story of smudged digits and amorous persistence ensues.
Conjuring all the magic of train-bound romance the film is set to a new arrangement of George Michael’s Faith, performed by artist Sleeping At Last.
The ad brings Tom Hooper and the National Lottery full circle – as the film for which he won his best director Oscar, The King’s Speech, received National Lottery Good Cause funding through the British Film Institute.
The film is part of a multi-media channel campaign, including a real life experience that invites the public to get involved. Special photo booths, placed at certain train stations across the UK, will invite passers by to have their photos taken and see them projected on nearby digital OOH space.
