Created by Paris agency WNP and produced by EDDY, this new campaign for SeLoger depicts a meet cute between a young couple occupying the same apartment block.
Eager to get to know his attractive new neighbour more, a chap devises a cunning ruse – ‘accidentally’ leaving his key in his front door, hoping she’ll knock and say hello.
To enhance the love story, feature film director Haya Waseem was chosen for her sensitivity and cinematographic approach, adding sensual touches such as the woman's lingering touch of the banister when she first spies the young man moving in.
The ad, titled The Keys, was shot entirely on 35 mm film and is set to the music of Axel Enderlin, who performs a tender rendition of the Michel Delpech track, Pour un Flirt.
A nice touch is the fact that the woman is clearly a single mum, giving her character some backstory and depth, beyond her being just a pretty face.
