Sometimes, nothing hits the spot quite like revisiting your old favourite comfort shows, as proven in this charming mini series by BBC Creative, which takes the format of its beloved claymation show, Creature Comforts.
Almost 35 years since it first aired in 1989, the British Broadcasting Corporation has brought the country’s favourite anthropomorphic animals back to life in a charming mini series, co-directed by Rich Webber and Justin Bairamian, and created through award-winning stop-motion studio, Aardman.
Part of its Things We Love campaign, which provides an entertaining insight to the UK’s most loved BBC content, the films feature real audience member’s voices and unscripted conversations, synced with charming stop-motion clay characters.
The campaign brings together two globally admired brands in Aardman and the BBC, and is part of the Corporation’s commitment to backing the best British storytelling by investing in homegrown talent and creativity.
