Director Aoife McArdle is behind this stylish new promo for Coldplay which takes George Orwell's Animal Farm as inspiration.
McArdle, who is represented by Somesuch, has used a series of anthropomorphised characters to tell a political and social story about disaffection, corruption and the abuse of power; foxes are harassed by cheetahs and antelope lie homeless on the street while political pigs argue on television.
The music video is a biting, six-minute satire on the state of the world but isn't all negativity because the proceeds from the song and video will be split between two charities; The Innocence Project, which helps to overturn wrongful convictions in the US, and ACFS, which is a charity for vulnerable children in South Africa.
