STOOP.NU fights back against bullying

In collaboration with director Jakob Havmoller, Stoop.nu have created a moving spot that raises awareness about the long lasting effects of bullying. 

Scars for Life tells the story of a lady, who, whilst waiting at the bus stop, overhears an unkind voice as a group of chatting teenagers walk past. She is unsure whether they are talking about her, or if it was just in her imagination. 

She looks over at the girls, who are minding their own business, and is thrown into a panicked flashback. The film flits between scenes of reality and her traumatic memories, as one of the teenagers at the bus stop takes on the voice of her childhood bully. 

The poignant film effectively draws attention to the fact that, no matter how old we get, the scars and insecurities left by unkind words can last a lifetime.
