Director Ante Kovac, and co-creator and DP Stuart Campbell, has used LCD Soundsystem's track Tonight as the canvas for this brilliant bedroom dance-a-thon called Stevie.
As we all know, music can be transformative, and in this short film-cum-promo, Stephanie, a high school teen living in suburbia, is transformed into the eponymous Stevie, a punk, electro-disco club girl who is living in the moment.
With a nod to the Spike Jonze-directed Drunk Girls music video [below], and with great VFX by Alter Ego, the short is a joyful and celebratory diversion from, well, everything else happening at the moment.
