Housing charity Shelter teams up with Who Wot Why to spread awareness of the UK housing crisis.
Featuring real people impacted by the housing emergency, Fight For Home feels immediate and urgent, focusing on the real anxiety produced by unstable housing. As the camera moves through London, portraits are projected on buildings in huge, fearful, upsetting detail. It’s a powerful statement about the emotional impact injustice has on people. There is a sense of protest in this film, a new direction for a charity, that feels determined and intentional.
Independent Films’ Bafta-winning Rocks directors, Sarah Gavron and Anu Henriques are at the helm. Fight For Home is set to a track written and composed by the award-winning rapper, singer and songwriter, Wretch 32.
