Cat food brand Sheba has launched this clever new campaign led by creative agency AMV BBDO, consisting of two amusing spots directed by Angelo Cerisara through Biscuit Filmworks, which illustrate the irresistible allure of kittens. 

Inspired by the astounding statistics that one quarter of cat parents are actually allergic to their own pets, the spots see two characters suffering with horrifically swollen eyes, red itchy skin and sore noses as they cradle an adorable kitten, outlining the lengths that owners will go to to show love for their furry friends. 

AMV BBDO Creative Partners Polina Zabrodskaya and Andre Sallowicz says: “This insight confirms that people will do anything for their kitten – including enduring sneezing, itching, and swelling – all in the name of love; we wanted to capture this portrait of cat ownership and celebrate the willingness to give in.”
