This ad imagines what the world would be like if doctors enjoyed the same kind of fame as pro footballers.
Unknown Heroes starts with all the trappings of a country riveted by a contentious football game on the telly. People hold their breaths, lean in, hold each other’s hands for support, and then we pull back and...it’s a doctor. They’ve removed the bullet! The patient will live!
Saatchi & Saatchi creates a world where doctors get their own trading cards, after-op TV interviews, and even red carpet events. It’s a fun, slightly sentimental tribute to war zone health care workers who typically don’t get the resources they need, much less recognition. Unknown Heroes was directed by Stéphane Barbato and produced by Prodigous Paris, and questions what the world values as health issues dominate global headlines.
