Fresh from blowing the crowd away at Glastonbury over the weekend, US rockers Queens Of The Stone Age are heading to another town for their latest eye-catching promo: Beavertown.

Entering the distinct visual world of the brewery's flagship Neck Oil beer, the vid for latest single Paper Machete tells its surreal story through illustration and animation, even rendering the band members in its recognisable style.

Developed by Creative Director Nick Dwyer and Black Dog Films’ Director and Animator Alice Bloomfield, the blending of brand and band is a seamless match; the innovative concept working for both.

“At Beavertown, we believe we show our creativity in everything we do; from the design of the cans to the recipe of the beers," explains Tom Rainsford, Beavertown’s Marketing Director. "This creative collaboration between Beavertown and the epic Queens of the Stone Age continues to show our commitment to creativity and taking an interesting approach to our marketing.

"It’s been amazing for everyone involved to work together on the music video for Paper Machete. We’ve embarked on a journey to redefine what is possible in the realm of beer and music. And if nothing more, Neck Oil is a banging beer for the summer and this is a banging track - what more could you want.”

Nick Dywer, Beavertown Brewery’s Creative Director, adds: “It’s absolutely mind-blowing to be working with Queens of The Stone Age. We’ve all been massive fans of them forever. So, to have the opportunity to make a music video for them, let alone the only one they are doing, … well it hasn’t quite sunk in yet.”
