This innovative and imaginative campaign, directed by Steve Rogers through Revolver, launches with two sixty-second hero spots imagining an idyllic world where we need not be concerned about unexpected dilemmas.
The initiative, which will span cinema, television, and large-format OOH, plays with the concept that until disasters can prevent themselves, NRMA insurance is the next best solution.
Runaway tells the story of a lone tyre, magically propelling itself through the Australian landscape until it arrives on the scene to save a driver from a head on collision. Duel, a mischievous tussle between fire and water, portrays a rural paddock that can self-extinguish wildfire flames before they can catch hold to threaten a rural home.
Both spots are brought to life by lively and distinctive instrumental soundtracks which help to playfully tell the stories and bring the inanimate subjects to life.
