Surfing lobsters and pole-dancing firemen probably aren’t the first images you’d associate with your everyday tooth brushing experience, but Le Pub’s charming spot for Italian toothpaste brand Marvis is full of them.
With quirky, colour-popping imagery by three different illustrators - Japanese Sawako Kabuki, Italian Sebastiano Fossali and French Simon Landrein - this wonderfully weird campaign, titled Marvel Your Routine, challenges the notion that oral hygiene is a tasteless, clinical chore.
In Marvis’ enchanting world, toothbrushes become skis for an invigorating day on the slopes, firefighters break into unexpected pole-dance moves and some exuberant shellfish ride waves out of their refreshing tubes, with each scene showcasing how its flavours can revolutionise a mundane teeth cleaning routine.
