Rising Russian director (and Great Guns' latest signing) Lado Kvataniya is behind this troubling promo for singer/songwriter Manizha's new track, Mama, which highlights the shocking statistics around domestic violence in the country.
An eerie fairytale about a family isolated in the woods, the video tracks the terrifying nightly transformation of the father into a werewolf, who violently pursues his wife and daughter. As the mother tries to hide her scars by day, the daughter begins to notice strange transformations in her body - eventually gaining superhuman strength and defeating the monster.
Produced by Hype Production, the promo is part of a broader awareness campaign which includes a custom-built mobile app to help survivors, via a panic button that sends an SOS signal to a database of psychologists, solicitors, crisis centres and shelters.
