For 47 long years, power cuts have been a daily reality for the people of Lebanon, due to an outdated energy infrastructure and an over-reliance on private operators and fuel imports.
Giving the crisis heartbreaking immediacy is this new spot from an independent NGO LOGI, in which a mere 47 Seconds shows the difference between life and death.
Created in partnership with Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey, with idea and direction from Tahaab Raisit, the one-take film moving action leads to a direct response plea; directing people to a website where they can learn more about the initiative and sign a petition that demands transparent access to updates on parliamentary discussions in the electricity sector and pressures the newly elected Lebanese parliament to solve the electricity crisis.
