Conceived by agency Herezie and produced by Exchanges, this unusual spot features genuine family film, shot on smartphone, showing the sea-faring three-year-old Leo enjoying holiday on the open seas.
The film starts with him grizzling in that tragic way that only small humans can do as he has to leave the ship, then flashes back to all the fun he had onboard – eating yummy food, gazing out to sea and strutting his toddler stuff on the dance floor.
Nothing in the ad was staged, reinforcing the brand's signature, ‘Costa. Believe your eyes'.
