From a libidinous hand to dissatisfaction with solo sex life, Kondomeriet wants to let you know that men deserve to have fun too.
A man reunites with...his hand, I suppose, in this funny, tongue-in-cheek nod towards safe sex during lockdown. The Relationship is nice; familiar, intimate, wonderful, and as time goes on, slightly boring. What’s a man to do during self-isolation and social distancing? One night, alone (with his hand) in bed, the man decides to make a change. Time for a new sex toy. One not attached to his arm.
The piece is so strange but echoes the taboos in place around men owning sex toys. Women have slightly different cultural standards, but this piece comes at it with freshness and absurdity, cleverly positioning Kondomeriet as both lighthearted and trustworthy. It doesn’t hurt that the brand was also responsible the now-notorious Food Porn advert. Agency POL developed this campaign in collaboration with The Relationship’s directors, the Perlorian Brothers, and produced by Hobby Film.
