IGA supermarkets has launched an animated film for the holidays called Made With Love.
Created by Sid Lee and directed by Chloe Robichaud, the film, about the ripple effects of sharing and food’s ability to bring people together, also includes a fundraising element with animated origami, which is available in all IGA stores across Quebec.
The spot features a young girl and her nurse mother who, together, are able to bring joy to kids who need it most. “This holiday season is pretty unique," says Julie Desrochers, Creative Director at Sid Lee. "People are being over-solicited, so we wanted to come up with an original way to raise money. We’re not selling an object, we’re creating fun family moments while supporting sick kids, and we’re doing this by getting the most out of what our artisans do best: combining storytelling, craft and technology."
