Created by Isla and directed by Nico Perez Veiga through Primo, this moving spot for sports performance drink brand Gatorade follows the story of a man who heals from heartbreak through physical activity.
From long evenings spent alone to the obsessive social media stalking phase, the film, titled Breakup, captures the protagonist's struggles as he endures the painful stages of a separation.
Upon finding a bottle of Gatorade in the fridge, the main character is inspired to go for a run to burn off his pent up emotion. Through Viego’s subtle and intimate direction, we see him take small steps towards regaining his confidence aided by the healing power of sports.
