Created by London agency neverland, the brand relaunch includes a wacky spot directed by Noah Harris through Agile Films, set in a beauty salon called Dirty Gertie’s – named after the classic bingo call.
After switching on the ‘BoomFox’– a furry boombox that sets the hursuit theme – a red-haired raver and his chums burst into dance as they channel their inner foxiness. Backing the film is the 1981 track Menergy by iconic electronic disco producer Patrick Cowley.
The salon is set to be re-created in the new year and will open as a pop-up hairdressers for customers to visit and to get their fox on for real.
Noel Hamilton, Executive Creative Director of neverland said: “When you have an idea as simple as ‘Get your fox on’, suddenly ducks with mullets and a furry boombox make total sense.”
