Directed by Paul Geusebroek through Iconoclast UK, these colourful 30-second films introduce us to a range of eBay tribes: the ‘Bargain Hunters’, ‘Style Seekers’ and the ‘Experts’.
Each group is characterised by the relentless and passionate pursuit of what they want, whether that’s a more sustainable way to find fashion, a fantastic bargain on a pair of headphones or a more intimate approach to running a small business.
The snappy spots combine a variety of close-up shots with dramatic and cinematic ASMR-like sounds such as speedy keyboard tapping, furniture polishing and camera shutters.
The initiative boasts a vibrant visual approach that puts eBay’s heritage logo and four colours at the centre of a complete brand refresh, proudly proving that old can become new.
