Dermot Kennedy’s elemental journey

“There’s gold in the dirt, I never took time to see,” so sings Kennedy in a love song referencing a recurring influence in his music – the natural world. 

Reflecting the theme, director Oriol Puig, Trizz studio and BLINKINK have collaborated to create a lusciously textured effects-laden promo.

Fluffy clouds undulate into waves, silken silver threads morph into molten metals that wrap themselves into human form – all set against a futuristic landscape of mill-pond flat mercury seas, sparkling sands and rough rocks that break open to reveal liquified gold. 

It’s totally gorgeous and will have your finger tips all a-tingle wanting to reach out and touch the textures. Don’t though, you’ll just put smudgy grease marks on your screen.
