Created by Don't Panic and directed by Eugen Merher through Academy, this touching campaign for humanitarian charity Disasters Emergency Committee, titled The Locker, marks the one-year anniversary of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
As the spot opens, we find ourselves a fly-on-the-wall of a neonatal doctor’s locker in a Syrian hospital, offering us a heart-wrenching, real-time view of the devastation caused when shockwaves struck from the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
Emphasising the individual human impact of natural disasters, the narrative follows the story of before, during and after the earthquake, demonstrating how the survivors had to suffer loss of their own whilst continuing to work to save others, with the vital help of UK donations.
