Directed by Voyager's Charles Frank and presented by The New Yorker, this candid short film, titled Lost In My Mind, follows a young man’s recovery from the mental illness obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Through vulnerable and affecting interviews with musician Manny Padilla, the documentary offers an authentic glimpse into the disabling symptoms of his illness, from his phobia of electricity to the obsessive rituals that consume his daily life.

Footage of his exposure therapy offers honest insight into treatment and recovery, while interviews with his psychologists break down taboos and misconceptions surrounding the illness. Driven by his own experiences with OCD, the director made it his personal mission to create the documentary and raise awareness of the condition.
