Set to the classy, gambling-themed strains of Turn of a Card by Pony Sherrell this appealing film Date was created for Holland Casino by Amsterdam agency INDIE and directed by Vesa Manninen through Hobby Film.

Shot in one of the brand’s casinos, the cinematic spot follows the progress of a couple on a first date, who at first seem to have the odds set against them. Production designer Jeroen Echter and DP Robbie van Brussel cast a magic glow to the location and, for authenticity, the casino’s real croupiers were spinning the wheels and dealing the cards.

Despite its nostalgic, big band vibe Pony Sherrell’s hit song – which features Phil Moody and his orchestra – was released in 2018.
