With some visual flair and a warm sense of authenticity, Billy Boyd Cape's latest for the Co-op is a welcome dose of feel-good charm.
From a child lifting a toasted bread soldier out of an egg to the shutters being pulled up at a Community Fridge, to the depths of a boiling pot of peas transitioning to behatted heads in a lively community pool, The Only Way is Up uses neat match-on-action editing to cement the brand's ties to the people who use it.
The campaign, created by Lucky Generals and shot through Academy Films, brilliantly couples some great casting with a cracking, stripped-back rendition of the Yazz/Otis Clay titular track, making for a simple, pointed spot that oozes loveliness.
