A new campaign from BBC Creative, produced through BlinkInk, takes a cold, hard look at some of the sports we'll be able to witness once the 2022 Winter Olympics kicks off.
Unlike previous Olympic trails, this one eschews any mention of - or reference to - the host nation of China and instead concentrates on six of the sports that will be on show across the Games, all beautifully rendered within the confines of an ice-cube and overlaid with stirring, dramatic music.
"We wanted a score which was rooted in challenge and adversity, almost Art of War-ish," said Gary Hilton, Director of GAS Music Manchester. "And the percussive patterns are straight from authentic Chinese rhythms, such as Beijing's clock tower, and derivatives from Buddist worship music. The sound design and sound effects were produced almost frame-by-frame and then mixed with the score with a similar process to allow the dynamics and narrative of each of the six sports represented."
