It seems bleakly ominous to advertise George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by aligning it with the current state of affairs in 2022, but, in B-Reel Stockholm's credit, it totally works.
Hinged on a maths-based collection (1+9+8+4=22, THE HORROR!), the atmospheric film looms around break locations whilst a foreboding VO comments on the similarities.
Slickly shot by Tarot Pictures' Daniel Eskils, this winning work for Storytel’s audio immersive re-telling of the classic novel does a good job of making you doublethink to give it a listen.
