Austria eschews AI and brings in people power
In a witty riposte to the onslaught of AI-themed campaigns, the Austrian National Tourist Office launches Chat SkiPT, an 'Authentic Intelligence' that uses the knowledge and fingertips of actual instructors.

ChatGPT has become something of an oracle if you want refinable insight into a holiday destination, but the results it spits out can't fail to be generic due to the nature of its sources.
As a response, the Austrian National Tourist Office has launched Chat SkiPT, a people-powered site where visitors can write region-related questions, to which 16 ski instructors from the Austrian ski regions respond.
Conceived by Wien Nord Serviceplan, the tongue-in-cheek campaign is aided by a deliberately flashy film from SOVISO Film Production's Niklas Schwärzler, gently mocking the tech-heavy emphasis of much modern work and instead taking us to the slopes.
